How this site is built

We want everyone to be able to use this website. It is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That means:

• text and controls have strong contrast, and every control shows clearly when it has keyboard focus;
• everything works with a keyboard, and nothing depends on dragging;
• every photo has a written description;
• nothing on the page moves on its own, except a short video at the top of some pages, which has a pause button and does not play if your device asks for reduced motion;
• the site works without JavaScript, and you can zoom text to 200% without losing anything.

Every release is checked with automated accessibility tests.
